I just got back from giving my first tour of the spring '09 semester and it was a good one, despite the suffocating winds and bone chilling temperature. We had a good group, a few girls from New Hampshire (wooohoo!) and I was able to show one of our new ambassadors the ropes. The forecast said it would be 15 degrees today but I'm not buying it... needless to say, I pulled the Eskimo jacket and uggs out of the closet and was good to go.
Classes have begun and I am pretty excited to see how the semester pans out. I'm taking Design lab, Women in American Politics, World lit, PR2, and a challenge course called Advanced Professional Communication...I think that will keep me busy enough. Classes are cancelled for the holiday on Monday so I'm stewing up my plans for the long weekend. That would sound pretty exciting, except with this weather my roommates and I will most likely stay put with movies and delivery...
My birthday is next Monday, the 26th, and I'll be 21! I felt really old when I turned 20 for some reason, so I hope this one doesn't hit me too badly...
Some of our Ambassadors are in D.C. right now for the inauguration and I am missing them terribly...hurry back ladies!
Until next time,
Kayla :)
